We are pleased to announce that applications are now open for the AI and Fusion Energy Summer School, taking place from June 1 to June 12, 2026, at William & Mary. This is a free summer school for which food and accommodations are included.
This intensive two-week program is designed for undergraduate students with backgrounds in either physics, engineering, computer science, applied mathematics, and data science.
Program Highlights:

Equal balance of instruction and hands-on projects:

Daily 80-minute morning classes focusing on:

Computing, applied mathematics, machine learning, and deep learning
*
Bayesian reasoning in data science
*
Fusion energy fundamentals for practical applications.
*
Afternoon sessions will engage students in active projects and experiential learning.

Collaborative environment: Students will work on cutting-edge applications of AI in fusion energy, gaining valuable skills for future research and careers.
