We hope you’ll join us for this week’s STEMinar “Fostering mutually beneficial relationships among STEM faculty, students, and the community through service-learning” by yours truly.  😊  I’ll be discussing strategies for how faculty can use service-learning specifically in STEM classes and have great relationships with community partners.  We’ll be in person in SH115 and there will be cookies and coffee provided, as usual, starting at 3:15PM.  If you’re just joining for the talk, we’ll be starting promptly at 3:30PM.  You can join online or in person.

I wanted to draw your attention to our STEM mini-grant program<https://www.fgcu.edu/cas/centers/whitaker/facultyresources#WhitakerCenterMiniGrantApplications>!  It is back and we hope you and your students will apply.  The application is a simple one and is due by 11/15 for consideration for fall 2021 funding.  We’ll also be collecting applications again in the spring for spring/summer funding.  Those will be due 2/1/22.
