</span>This year I decided to raise funds for STEM student-faculty research with The Whitaker Center for STEM Education at

<p class="MsoNormal">This cause is personal for me. Even more than a decade later, I still keep in touch with my former research students and I am so proud of what they have accomplished. Mentoring them, supporting their research, and taking them to professional
meetings is part of what we do as STEM faculty. Our FGCU STEM faculty are doing this important work and
